Co-curricular activities are integral to the educational program and whether or not they carry academic credit they educate and benefit students in ways that classroom activities alone cannot.
To enhance social skills and talent of students we at Grafton College have included various co-curricular activities in our educational program to support the academic mission of school.
These activities include:
The primary aim of the dramatic club is to groom and give the students a platform to showcase their talents and to build up their confidence and to foster healthy competition among students. This club encourages dramatic presentations by students in the form of skits, mime, plays etc.The club also hosts the annual Inter-collegiate Drama competition. The club explores the possibilities for interdisciplinary linkage between different forms of performing art.
The Debate club creates opportunities for students to develop their debating skills. Intra and Inter collegiate debating competitions are organized. Students are encouraged to participate in competitions conducted by other institutions also.
To provide proper incentive and inspiration for the pursuit of scientific knowledge in vigorous way by broadening their scientific outlook a Science club has been established in Intermediate Section whose primary aim is to provide opportunities for bringing school close to the society and to acquaint the people with the services and contribution of the science in their life. It also develop among the student the spirit and attitude of healthy competition for the individual and social cause. A science exhibition is arranged once in a year during second term to encourage students for their efforts.
